I wrote an article in the January 2025 issue of Downeast Dog News I wrote about a voluntary recall of Northwest Naturals brand 2lb Feline Turkey Recipe raw frozen pet food. The company and the USFDA closed the recall on February 18, 2025. Sadly, there is no doubt that the cat died of H5N1, but there is no evidence of H5N1 contaminating Northwest Naturals products.
